Last fall I called several of my providers to make some changes and ended up with lower bills on everything. Some of the savings were just a couple of bucks but some were $20 or more a month. By the time I added up my savings, it was definitely time well spent. Your providers don't contact you with special offers or new deals - you have to touch base with them regularly in order ot find out about that stuff. I was going to reduce our internet service but was able to get my current service for $20 a month less for 12 months. Yeah! Calling your current providers is a really great way to save money.
